The taste I never forgot.
I was five when we left Morocco. Too young to keep clear memories of it, but old enough for its scents to stay etched in my memory forever.
My most beautiful memories are in the mountains of Morocco, at my great-grandparents' home. Above all, picking prickly pears, el hendia. With a long bamboo cane, we caught the fruit without getting pricked. Then came that taste, the moment it opened: fresh, sweet, full of sun. A fruit that grows where nothing else will, and that fed entire families during the season. Generous and strong at the same time.

Then we moved to Brussels. Another world, and often a quiet longing. Every summer, I found that taste again in Morocco. For a moment, I was that five-year-old boy again, at home.
One question never left me: why couldn't that taste travel with me, all around the world?
That's how Adala Cola was born. A real cola, bold and sparkling, with a light touch of prickly pear. Subtle, like a memory. You don't need to know the fruit to love it. And whoever recognises it feels instantly at home.
Adala Cola is a halal cola, made with care, respecting what was passed down to us. The prickly pear asks for little and gives a lot. That generosity is what we want to give back, with every sip.
